Custom Umbrella ORDER PROCESS
We have been supplying high-quality and memorable custom branded umbrellas for over twenty-five years. In that time, our experience has generated a comprehensive order process that has been copied throughout the industry. We specialise in supplying the Canadian market from Vancouver to Halifax. We can deliver to our customers in circa three weeks, but would prefer to create and supply a completed umbrella sample for conclusive approval. That takes from about five to ten days, depending on complexity, and it’s a great service, as it will ensure you are completely happy with every aspect of your umbrella order.

We can provide advice and send over a canopy template if you prefer to design your own custom umbrellas. But – we also have a dedicated team of experienced designers on hand to help bring your ideal custom printed umbrellas to life. We encourage as many revisions as it takes to create your perfect umbrella and – it’s all free!
Simply email us your logo and brand details to sales@ibrolly.com, together with a short brief, and we will do the rest. It generally takes a few hours to return your design. It’s at this stage that we can fully confirm pricing and lead time.

What’s the iBrolly minimum order quantity for custom umbrellas?
Our minimum order quantity for personalised umbrellas screen printed in stock colours is just twenty-five units. For dye sublimation and digital printing, where we also include tie wrap printing, logo in handle, etc., we generally ask for fifty units.
Does delivery cost vary depending on destination city in Canada?
Generally not. The cost of delivering our umbrellas to Vancouver or Toronto is the same. The only caveat to this is when delivery is to a really remote area. Most orders of one hundred units and smaller are generally sent by courier, but for larger orders, sea freight can offer some serious discounts, so we generally quote for both when confirming pricing.
Can you supply a Custom Printed Umbrella Sample?
Yes. All confirmed orders come with a FREE fully printed pre-production custom umbrella sample. This level of service ensures you will be completely satisfied with every aspect of your umbrella order, including frame style, colour, and print quality, before we move to production…
How long does it take to make the printed custom umbrella sample?
Once the design of your umbrellas has been approved – it takes from between five to seven days to complete a sample, depending on the complexity of the design. We will initially send you some pictures for approval and, if all looks good, we will send the sample umbrella over for conclusive approval to ensure you will be happy with the final product.
How long will it take to manufacture the custom umbrellas?
Production time is anywhere from about 10 days to about 30 days, depending on style and order quantity. As soon as the order is completed, we will send detailed photos confirming that production matches the approved sample.
How long will it take to ship my custom umbrella order?
We offer various methods of delivery, including express courier, air freight, and sea freight. Transit times vary from three days to thirty-five days, depending on how urgently the order is required. There are some excellent discounts for longer sea freight delivery times.
Is delivery included, and are there any other costs?
We will quote you the cost of delivery, and it will always be on a DDP basis – so no other unexpected costs whatsoever. Duty and all delivery charges are included.

Can You Offer All-Over Panel Printed Umbrellas?
Yes, we can produce umbrellas with all-over panel printing, creating a bold and eye-catching design. Using advanced printing methods, particularly dye sublimation, we can print detailed artwork and large images across multiple panels.
This technique is especially popular for folding umbrellas, where full-panel printing helps attract attention and maximise visibility on a small canopy.
Can you offer double-layer canopy custom umbrellas?
Yes, we can produce double-canopy custom umbrellas, designed for both performance and visual impact. All our frames are engineered to accommodate either a double-layer or dual-vented canopy, improving airflow and stability in windy conditions.
If you opt for this construction – it also provides additional protection in sunny weather by helping to block damaging UV rays. The outer layer can be custom printed, creating a striking promotional umbrella that performs well in both rain and sunshine.
Can you offer vented windproof umbrellas?
Yes. Many of our umbrellas are designed to be wind-resistant, with a windproof umbrella frame and proper vented canopy that allows air to pass through in adverse weather conditions. Our vented canopies are of proper dual-vented design, where the upper canopy actually lifts up in strong winds, allowing more air to escape, making them easier to handle.
What canopy fabric colours do you have?
We use polyester Pongee 200T fabric when single-layer canopies are created, and 190T when it’s a double-layer canopy to help keep the weight down.
We have approximately 60 different stock fabric colours available at any given time. The colours tend to get updated with current fashion trends from year to year. On orders of fifty units and larger, we can fully dye sublimate to any colour – we work with Pantone references, so will ask you for your relevant reference to help us accurately replicate your colours.
What format should I send my logo or branding for the printing?
We require your custom logo or design artwork in a high-quality print file, preferably EPS or AI format. We can work with JPEG for the initial design layout, though.
Do you supply umbrella postal tubes and packaging?
Yes. We have a nice range of quality postal tubes that can be ordered at the same time as your umbrellas. We will even pack the umbrellas individually in each tube for free. For something special, you can have the tubes gloss printed in your company colours to match the umbrella and include your logo and sales message.
Can you offer personalised umbrellas?
We have some great solutions for highly personalised umbrellas. Laser engraving a client’s name on a metal handle ring or embroidering a name on a tie wrap avoids set-up charges, which is key to keeping the price workable.
